A 'NORMAL' LIFE IN NEW YORK CITY!

A 'NORMAL' LIFE IN NEW YORK CITY!, M. Erdem Ün | 10.03.2014

Yeah right, ha ha, there is no such thing as ’normal’ in New York City! Every moment is so different from the last, and just when you thought you had seen it all, heard it all, and done it all – expect the unexpected! Something completely unforeseen hits you out of the blue again and again! The result is that like the way hydraulics lift cranes into place to build the skyscrapers, so do your own personal standards rise to astronomical levels from living in this city. You have to decide on your own if it’s a bless or a curse. Everything then becomes a comparison to the best food, or most exciting entertainment, or incomparable beautiful parks and nature, or... located in NYC (you get the point)! I took the time to put together some examples just to illustrate you a tiny preview of what I mean:

The adventure already started the second I landed at JFK airport. I saw a strange lady dressed up as a “Harry Potter“ double...or something that should look like it. And except me and a couple other tourists, no one else seemed to care. I guess they all must already have been used to it. Later, I figured out why....This was nothing (!!!) compared to what was still to be experienced.

Nope, these are not the Alps or any other Ski place. This is Midtown Manhattan, after a snowing Winter day.

Sure, who needs a garden when he can plant his vegetables on a street in Downtown Manhattan?!

Those two seemed to have a great conversation while waiting for the subway. I was almost jealous.

Yup, a normal car would be too boring, right? lol

Excuse me?!

Beeaaat iiiiit! Michael Jackson in the middle of Times Square, right next tooooo...

...BATMAN.

For a first introductory blog, this should be enough for now. You can stay tuned because there is definitely more to come up soon! TO BE CONTINUED
