We cross the Galata Bridge \u2013 presenting striking views of the Galata Tower and Sultanahmet \u2013 towards Karak\u00f6y, with hip boutiques and cafes sandwiched between long-standing shops and bakeries. Keep strolling towards Be\u015fikta\u015f and, while you\u2019ll lose sight of the water at points, eventually you\u2019ll pass the ornate Dolmabah\u00e7e Palace, the Y\u0131ld\u0131z Palace and the Naval Museum, as well as one of the city\u2019s notable doner restaurants, Historical Karadeniz Doner. Continue along this stately (and busy) tree-lined avenue towards Ortak\u00f6y, and snap a photo of the Bosphorus view from the recently renovated Ortak\u00f6y Mosque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another three kilometers brings you to Arnavutk\u00f6y, famous for its gingerbread-style wood mansions. In Bebek, take a promenade in the Ay\u015fe Sultan Grove, a wander among magnificent mansions and historical streets, and a break for the famous &#8220;kup griye&#8221; at Baylan Patisserie. Continuing to Emirgan, we visit the Japanese Garden and the Emirgan Grove. After a tea break at a caf\u00e9 with a Bosphorus view, we motor towards \u0130stinye and Yenik\u00f6y. We walk towards Moda, with its upscale coffee shops and sleek street cats, and on to \u00dcsk\u00fcdar via picturesque T\u0131bbiye Street, where Haydarpa\u015fa train station is located. After a tea break and a view of the Maiden&#8217;s Tower, we stop by Fethipa\u015fa Grove and&nbsp; Kuzguncuk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next is Beylerbeyi, presenting Beyberbeyi Palace, magnificent mansions and rustic seaside fish restaurants. The next stop is \u00c7engelk\u00f6y site of the Historical \u00c7\u0131naralt\u0131 Tea Garden, prominently featured in the famous 90&#8217;s TV series, Super Baba, and offering wonderful views. We walk away from the beach towards Havuzba\u015f\u0131 Sokak, lined with historical homes and considered among Istanbul\u2019s &nbsp;most beautiful streets. Then, on to Kandilli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>With its striking architecture, Kuleli Military High School is a symbol of Kandilli; Vanik\u00f6y is also famous for its mansions. But most significant is the view of the Bosphorus from Sevda Hill. After we take pictures, we go to Anadolu Fortress, surrounded by trees, and then to Beykoz.
