\u00c7e\u015fme is probably the first place that comes to mind when discussing \u0130zmir holiday destinations. Featuring splendid beaches, historical monuments, museums, and dining, \u00c7e\u015fme is considered an ideal location for a summer holiday in T\u00fcrkiye.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u00c7e\u015fme beaches are so beautiful that thousands of local and foreign tourists visit annually, mainly between May and September. Il\u0131ca Beach, Alt\u0131nkum Beach, Ayayorgi Bay, Kocakar\u0131 Beach, P\u0131rlanta Beach, Sak\u0131zl\u0131 Bay, Boyal\u0131k Bay and many more secluded paradises and beaches around can be found in \u00c7e\u015fme. \u00c7e\u015fme beaches will no doubt exceed expectations.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is also a pleasure to visit historical sites in \u00c7e\u015fme, with settlements dating from the 7th century BCE. Seferihisar offers a more tranquil summer holiday in \u0130zmir \u2013 visitors can experience the flow of time in a picturesque setting. Seferihisar and S\u0131\u011fac\u0131k are among the most unique holiday destinations in \u0130zmir and T\u00fcrkiye.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seferihisar was T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s first town to receive the Cittaslow title. Cittaslow, which means \u201cSlow City\u201d, is a union of municipalities established in Italy in 1999. The Cittaslow network, which includes slow cities from all over the world, is an organization aimed at protecting the local cuisine, local architecture, traditions, and crafts of the regions that seek to prevent the uniformity that arises with globalization.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Seferihisar, the ancient city of Teos is a notable site. One of <\/span>the most important ancient cities in T\u00fcrkiye<\/span><\/a>, Teos is prominent in international literature with its Temple of Dionysus, as well as its agora, port, theater, cistern and ancient temple.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among Seferihisar\u2019s charms are the quaint houses with bay windows (Cumbal\u0131) of S\u0131\u011fac\u0131k. This entrancing seaside town, which is the setting for many TV series and films, features captivating streets, along with S\u0131\u011fac\u0131k Castle and the S\u0131\u011fac\u0131k Organic Market, where visitors can purchase and sample region-specific products.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seferihisar is home to the beautiful Akkum and Akarca beaches. Both are fairly tranquil; the waters of Akarca Beach are cooler.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
