Milano Fashion Week will start on September 21 with the Emerging Talents Milano parade and end on September 28 with the Turtlehorn event and grand finale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do not be confused as we say the “Grand Finale”; we are talking about a digital “Grand Finale”. In this period when all normals that we are accustomed to have changed, numerous people will follow the Milano Fashion Week at their homes, via their computers and mobile devices. If you visit the Milano Fashion Week and if you have extra time out there, the first thing to do must be to visit Duomo di Milano. The completion of Duomo di Milano, the largest cathedral in Italy and the fourth largest in Europe, took more than 500 years. This breath-taking example of the gothic architecture stands right at the heart of Milano, at the Duomo Square. Duomo di Milano, where 40 thousand people can pray at the same time, is established on an area of 11 thousand 700 square metres. On the top of the Cathedral, where 135 bridges are located inside, stands the Madonna statue created by the sculptor Giuseppe Perego.  The statue is made of solid gold and it is at an altitude of 108.5 metres. The reason for use of solid gold in the making of the Madonna statue is to ensure that Duomo di Milano not be lost under any conditions in the foggy and dark city of Milano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Designed by the architect Giuseppe Mengoni in 1861, the construction of the building was started in 1865 and it was completed in 1877.
