Can Bonomo on the DasDas and Jolly Joker stages with his new songs<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We begin our list of March events with a concert. After a five-year hiatus, Can Bonomo performs songs from his new album Kara Konular<\/em> at DasDas on March 1 and at Ankara Jolly Joker on March 6.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Power and equality: WOW Women of the World Festival<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The British Council, in collaboration with Beykoz Kundura and the UK-based WOW Foundation, will host the WOW Women of the World Festival from March 2-3 in Beykoz Kundura.\u00a0 The festival’s schedule includes discussions, concerts, workshops and meetings. The WOW International Women’s Festival is one of the must-see events in March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An exhibition worth seeing: Untraditional<\/em> by Ertu\u011frul G\u00fcng\u00f6r and Faruk Ertekin<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Untraditional<\/em>, an exhibition by Ertu\u011frul G\u00fcng\u00f6r and Faruk Ertekin, explores our culture and past. At the Anna Laudel Gallery as of March 1, Untraditional<\/em> draws from a diverse range of imagery, including early Republican period oil paintings, \u0130znik tiles, traditional women’s motifs and ceramic art, creating new semantic layers through the connection it establishes with modern and contemporary figures. Each work in the exhibition challenges the two artists’ traditional understanding of art and provides the viewer with a unique intellectual experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Calvino Talks: Calvino\/ \u0130nsandan Ba\u015fka<\/em> (Other Than Human<\/em>).<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition Italo Calvino is 100+1 Years Old!<\/em>, at K\u0131raathane Literary House, will be accompanied by a Calvino Talks () discussion. The event, moderated by Elif Kendir Beraha, Arma\u011fan Ekinci and Asl\u0131han Demirta\u015f, explores various perspectives on Calvino, including scales, spatialities, and disciplines. Calvino is 100+1 Years Old!<\/em> runs through March 22.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tate Modern selection in \u0130stanbul<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Art\u0130stanbul Feshane showcases a remarkable selection from the Tate Modern\u2019s collection, made possible by IBB. Following stops in Porto and Shanghai, The Dynamic Eye<\/em> exhibition will be in \u0130stanbul until May 19. Curated by Valentina Ravaglia, the Curator of Displays and International Art at the Tate Modern, Dinamik G\u00f6z<\/em> features works from 57 artists, including Alexander Calder, Frank Stella, Victor Vasarely and Lygia Clark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emin Alper’s first theater production, The Double<\/em>, in \u0130stanbul and Ankara.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Emin Alper’s adaptation of the Dostoevsky novel of the same name, The Double (\u00d6teki)<\/em>, his first theater production, premieres in Ankara on March 8. Featuring Cem Yi\u011fit \u00dcz\u00fcmo\u011flu, Erdem \u015eenocak, Derya Karada\u015f and G\u00f6khan Y\u0131k\u0131lkan in the cast, the play will be performed at Ankara MEB \u015eura and can be seen at Caddebostan Cultural Centre on March 16 with two performances; at the Zorlu PSM Turkcell Platinum Stage on March 18; at ENKA Auditorium on March 27; and at Maximum Uniq Hall on March 29.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Iron Claw<\/em> premieres<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The acclaimed The Iron Claw<\/em>, starring Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White and Harris Dickinson, will be screened at \u0130KSV Galas before its theatrical release. The film is based on the true story of the brothers, who were champion wrestlers.
