The waves off Ordu are so well suited to surfing that in recent years Per\u015fembe has become a regular stop for enthusiasts from T\u00fcrkiye and abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is hard to find another place with roads winding through hazelnut groves down to the coast, morning mist slowly lifting from the hills, and the Black Sea\u2019s characteristically wild yet soothing sound. If you find yourself in Per\u015fembe, make time for Hoynat Island, Yason Burnu Peninsula and its church, Per\u015fembe Harbor and the surrounding hazelnut orchards. Untouched by noise and mass tourism, it earns its place on our list with its beautiful natural setting and warm, unpretentious character. It is the kind of place where you can swim, read a book and, when hunger strikes, enjoy a freshly made g\u00f6zleme prepared by local residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The olive groves and cliffs overlooking the Aegean take on an entirely different character in the morning light. Being only around a 30-minute drive from the Ancient City of Assos also makes Sokaka\u011fz\u0131 a rewarding stop for both nature and history. At night, the natural flames of Yanarta\u015f rising from the earth offer an experience unlike any other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don\u2019t leave without visiting the Ancient City of Olympos or swimming in Phaselis Bay.
