Kalam\u0131\u015f Skatepark<\/b><\/p><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Kad\u0131k\u00f6y is even more beautiful in summer and there\u2019s no better time to bring a skateboard, skates or a bike to Kalam\u0131\u015f Skatepark, located inside Kalam\u0131\u015f Atat\u00fcrk Park. Established in coordination with a sports brand, a non-governmental organization, and the local municipality to inspire young skateboarders, Kalam\u0131\u015f Skatepark is one of the buzziest skate parks on the Anatolian side. A bicycle park is parallel to the skating area, which also includes lockers and a skateboard repair counter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pendik Skatepark<\/b><\/p><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Also on the Anatolian side of \u0130stanbul is Pendik Skatepark, one of the city\u2019s most advanced. The 740-square-meter park offers elements such as a bowl, grind rails, a pyramid corner and spines. Enjoyed by skateboarders of all skill levels, Pendik Skatepark is especially popular among extreme athletes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maltepe Skatepark<\/b><\/p><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Extending over more than four thousand square meters, Maltepe Skatepark is one of \u0130stanbul \u2019s largest. Located inside Orhangazi City Park in \u0130stanbul, Maltepe Skatepark is well-equipped and houses major extreme sports organizations. It is particularly popular among skateboarders, rollerbladers and BMX riders. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Skateparks on the European side<\/b><\/p><\/h2>\n\n\n\n Be\u015fikta\u015f Square<\/b><\/p><\/h3>\n\n\n\n Although Be\u015fikta\u015f Square is not a purpose-built skatepark, the plaza is a well-known gathering place for skateboarders of all levels. In fact, competitions for the Vans Italy Skateboarding Team were recently held there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Skateboarding area in Ma\u00e7ka Park<\/b><\/p><\/h3>\n\n\n\n The expansive Ma\u00e7ka Park has areas that are suitable for rollerblading, skating and skateboarding. Although we should clarify that aggressive inline skating is not welcome here, the various staircases in the park are favorite places for grind tricks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Avc\u0131lar Skatepark<\/b><\/p><\/h3>\n\n\n\n Avc\u0131lar Skatepark is one the largest skateparks in T\u00fcrkiye, with an area of two thousand square meters. A popular destination for skateboarders since 2014, the skatepark includes a variety of corners, ramps, and funboxes. Avc\u0131lar Skatepark is in \u0130stanbul\u2019s Denizk\u00f6\u015fkler neighborhood. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Beylikd\u00fcz\u00fc Skatepark<\/b><\/p><\/h3>\n\n\n\n The site of the Turkish Skateboarding Championship, Beylikd\u00fcz\u00fc Skatepark features the deepest skateboarding pool in T\u00fcrkiye \u2013 a full Olympic-sized pool. Professional skateboarders are enthralled by the park\u2019s roll-in entrance and five-meter wall ride ramp. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Movie recommendations<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n Skateboarding is firmly entrenched in popular culture, including film.
