This area is known for its Blue Flag public beaches and forested areas. Known for its natural beauty and clean sea, \u015eark\u00f6y is a popular summer destination for both local and foreign visitors. \u015eark\u00f6y Beach has a sandy beach and a rocky sea bottom; sea shoes are useful. The area\u2019s beaches are ideal for families, with mainly calm and clean waters. Facilities include toilets, showers and changing cabins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are various social areas near the beaches, including the Trakya Fest Campground, which is about a five-minute walk from the beach. The Kumba\u011f area houses a range of accommodations and dining facilities, making it a standout among Tekirda\u011f public beaches. In addition, holiday villages and pensions are conveniently located within walking distance of Kumba\u011f Beach.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Alt\u0131nova Beach<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Alt\u0131nova Beach is approximately six kilometers from S\u00fcleymanpa\u015fa, a central district in Tekirda\u011f. Alt\u0131nova Public Beach, part of the Tekirda\u011f Metropolitan Municipality, received Blue Flag awards in 2017, 2018 and 2019, and is thus the preferred destination for the majority of visitors in the area. The swimming season in the Sea of Marmara typically begins in early June and runs through October. Water temperatures are around 20\u00b0C in June but rise to between 23\u00b0C and 27\u00b0C in July and August. For the most comfortable sea experience, the best period is from mid-July to mid-September. Wind conditions also significantly impact the beach experience. The poyraz, a strong northerly wind that sometimes hits Tekirda\u011f\u2019s shores, can make the sea quite rough.
