Uzun s\u00fcre \u0130ngiliz hakimiyetinde kalan kent, 1965 y\u0131l\u0131nda ise tam ba\u011f\u0131ms\u0131zl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 kazan\u0131yor.
