    About the MuseumPass

    Launched by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the MuseumPass enables you to enter hundreds of museums and archaeological sites across Türkiye and discover the rich cultural heritage of our country. Keep reading for more information on the application, advantages and types of MuseumPass!

    The advantages and types of MuseumPass 

    MuseumPass advantages vary depending on the card type. There are six types of MuseumPass so you’re sure to find one that fits your needs.

    MüzeKart+

    The most popular MuseumPass is the MüzeKart+. Valid for one year, the MuseumPass+ allows unlimited visits to more than 350 museums and archaeological sites affiliated with the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism, National Palaces and Directorate of Çanakkale Historical Site. As of 2023, you see which sites and museums can be visited with a MüzeKart+ via this link. The MüzeKart+ can be purchased by citizens of the Republic of Türkiye for 60 Turkish liras.

    MuseumPass Türkiye

    MuseumPass Türkiye is also valid for museums and sites across Türkiye, providing unlimited entry for 15 days from your first visit to a museum or archaeological site. With MuseumPass Türkiye, you can enter more than 300 museums and archaeological sites affiliated to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and National Palaces.

    MuseumPass İstanbul 

    As the name suggests, this museum pass is specific to 13 distinctive museums and historical sites in İstanbul, including the Galata Tower, the Topkapi Palace Museum, the Adam Mickiewicz Museum and the Istanbul Archaeological Museums. MuseumPass İstanbul is valid for five days from the first time you use it and offers an excellent and convenient way to explore the city’s historical site!

    MuseumPass Cappadocia

    MuseumPass Cappadocia offers entry to more than 10 museums and archaeological sites affiliated to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in the Nevşehir and Aksaray provinces, including underground cities and the Hacıbektaş Museum. MuseumPass Cappadocia is valid for three days from the first use.

    MuseumPass the Mediterranean

    MuseumPass Mediterranean offers entry to over 40 museums and archaeological sites in Antalya, Mersin, Adana and Denizli, including historically important sites such as the Temple of Athena, Alanya Castle, the Hierapolis (Pamukkale) Archaeology Museum and the Aspendos Ruins. MuseumPass Mediterranean is valid for seven days from the first time you use it.

    MuseumPass The Aegean

    This version of the MuseumPass offers access to more than 40 spectacular museums and archaeological sites in the Aegean provinces of İzmir, Aydın, Muğla and Denizli. Valid for seven days after the first use, MuseumPass The Aegean allows entry to a wide range of cultural destinations, including the İzmir Ephesus Museum, the Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology, the Hierapolis Ruins and the Aydın Aphrodisias Museum.

    How to get a MuseumPass

    It’s easy to get a MuseumPass! You can purchase a MuseumPass at MuseumPass sales points all over Türkiye. You can also buy a digital MuseumPass online through the Museums of Türkiye app, which is available via Google Play and the App Store.
