1. A Parisian delight: Indulging in croissants and coffee

Almost everyone who’s spent any time in Paris has eaten a croissant. Thus, we start our tour of Paris – inspired by the film locations of “Emily in Paris” – with a croissant and a coffee.
La Boulangerie Moderne, located just beyond Emily’s apartment building in the series, is where the protagonist enjoys enormous buttery, flaky croissants. In fact, this Parisian bakery can be added to your Paris itinerary.
2. Explore the colors of Paris through art galleries.

Paris is a city that delights in surprising visitors; there is always something new to discover. “Emily in Paris” gives us a taste of this wonder with L’Atelier des Lumières, a favorite hangout for Emily and her pals. This art center features exhibits as well as concerts and video installations. Stop by when you’re in Paris!
3. Dine in illustrious restaurants and cafes

Paris evokes thoughts of romance and food and the Emily series delivers on both, with the show’s film locations frequently taking place in the city’s most upscale restaurants. The first stop on a culinary journey inspired by the series could be Café de Flore, a legendary café once frequented by renowned artists and intellectuals, and now a regular haunt for Emily and her friends. Order a hot chocolate, one of the cafe’s most popular drinks, and savor Paris as if Albert Camus, Pablo Picasso and Jean-Paul Sartre were sitting at your table.
Emily and her colleagues have dined at the stylish Le Grand Véfour and so can you! Of course, it’s advisable to have a reservation. After enjoying a delicious meal, you can unwind at Le Jardins du Palais-Royal (the Palais-Royal gardens), another filming location for the series.
4. Visit the city’s historical landmarks

Naturally, “Emily in Paris” takes viewers on mini tours of the city’s landmarks, memorably integrating these sites into the script. For example, the magnificent Pont Alexandre III, the bridge where a perfume ad in the series is filmed, offers unforgettable views of the Seine.
Another iconic Parisian location is the Palais Garnier, the opera house featured multiple times in the series. One scene showcases the splendid architecture of the building as well as Emily’s opera attire, a dress inspired by famous actress Audrey Hepburn.
5. Take numerous photographs of Paris’s unique sights

Paris is intensely photogenic, a feature that Emily utilizes to the fullest in her Instagram posts. We invite you to photograph the sights of Paris and Le Café de l’Homme is a terrific place to start. Set at the Musee de l’Homme, the bistro has fabulous views of the Eiffel Tower, especially at night…
6. Get lost in the most beautiful streets of Paris

Of course, curvy Parisian streets, sidewalk cafes and gorgeous architecture play prominent roles in the series’ Paris shooting locations. If you want to explore Paris like Emily, be prepared to wander around and possibly even get lost in these streets! You can also observe the streets of Paris by sitting outdoors at a café and watching the people go by…
