Nemrut Crater Lake, the second-largest crater lake in Türkiye and the world at large has an altitude of 2,800. When you reach the summit, you will be greeted by the breathtaking beauty of Lake Van.
The splendid summit is blanketed in snow all year round, but the best time to visit Mount Süphan on your camping, climbing trip is any time between September and June. During this time, poppy flowers spring up and decorate the beautiful shades of green against the azure blue backdrop of Nemrut Crater Lake. We recommend that you stock up at the city center for any items you may need on your way as there are no private campsites in the area.
